The feast day of our Guardian Angels is on October 2nd. On the cover of our booklet is a picture that your littles can cut out and hang next to their bed or prayer corner. The banner on the front cover is a prompt to pray the Guardian Angel prayer with your littles. See the prayer on page 4.

Take a few minutes and talk to your littles about appropriate behavior during mass. Remind them that their guardian angels are always with them to help. Here are a few ways we can show Jesus how much we love Him during mass.
- When we are at mass, we are praying. It is appropriate behavior to keep our hands folded during mass.
- We show respect during mass by keeping our eyes on what is happening around the altar. It is appropriate behavior to keep our eyes looking up in adoration.
- We should try to keep our body still during mass. It is appropriate behavior to have a reverent body.
- When we are at mass, we should listen to what is being said. It is appropriate behavior to have listening ears during mass.

God gives each of us our own guardian angel when we are born. Our guardian angel is always with us. They protect us and help us to make good choices. Even though we cannot see our guardian angel with our eyes, we can feel them with our hearts.
St. Faustina was a religious sister who lived in Poland. Jesus told her to write the words to a prayer called the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy. It is prayed using the beads of the rosary and should be recited at the 3:00 hour, in honor of Jesus’s death on the cross. She also commissioned the Divine Mercy painting according to Jesus’s instructions. If you have a picture of the Divine Mercy, show your littles. Point out the rays from Jesus’s heart and pray the prayer, “Jesus, I Trust in You!”.
